Forest Peoples Programme is a UK based organisation working to support indigenous and forest dependent peoples defend their rights in relation to logging companies, industrial projects and conservation agencies. The program is being evaluated by Göran Eklöf from Context and Jannie Lasimbang from an organisation of indigenous communities in the Malaysian state of Sabah on Borneo. Field work has already been carried out in Cameroon and Indonesia.
